Kelly Lee Culbreth
Founder

Kelly has two passions in life… Music and Hair.  She jokes that she is a passionate Hair Colorist by day ( www.HairIsImportant.com ); then strikes the same passionate, colorful notes with music at night.  A musician her whole life, Kelly was born and raised in Centralia, IL.  She moved to Murfreesboro to attend Middle Tennessee State University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Mass Communications in 1997.  After living in New York for 6 years while working for Scruples Professional Salon Products, Kelly decided to move back to Murfreesboro, TN to settle down and start a business of her own.  After spending years of studying and teaching advanced hair color techniques throughout New York and the Northeast, Kelly couldn’t wait to build up her own clientele and do what she loves.  She can be found doing hair at Studio 627 on Maple Street here in Murfreesboro.  In her spare time, Kelly likes to sing, play piano, write songs, record music and perform.    “Sogno” is the Italian word for dream…and her dream was to use her musical talent for something bigger then herself.  So in 2013, she founded The Sogno Project as a way to raise money for her community while bringing awareness to Music & the Arts.

Sogno Partners and Committee Members will be added soon...
